BioVision Solutions specializes in quality ocular tissue dissection and processing. Tissues readily available include Aqueous Humor, Conjunctiva, Cornea, Lens, Vitreous Humor, Retina, Choroid, Sclera, Optic Nerve, and Optic Nerve Head. Other more specialized tissues are available upon request.
Dissection
Dissection procedures employed by BioVision Solutions provide isolated tissue samples. Samples are collected, placed into individual sample vials and quick frozen on dry ice prior to shipment to your facility. Each sample vial will be labeled with species, strain, matrix and a unique sample number.
Our technical staff are well versed in dissection of the tissues listed above or can provide dissection according to your individual protocol. For example, clients often request specialized dissection of the lens or cornea into their subsections.

Processing
BioVision Solutions processes tissues using ultrasonification techniques. Individual tissues are sonified in HPLC grade water (1 mL). Samples are cooled with a dry ice methanol bath during the procedure and quick frozen on dry ice prior to shipment to your facility. Our technical staff are well versed in ultrasonification procedures of the tissues listed above or can provide processing according to your individual protocol.
